NZ Concrete Taxis Launches On-Demand Concrete Mixing Service At Fieldays 2025

NZ Concrete Taxis is hitting the ground running with the launch of its new concrete mixing service powered by locally engineered and built Crewmix volumetric concrete machines.

The innovative mobile concrete mixers were on display at Fieldays, Mystery Creek last week, giving builders, landscapers and contractors a first look at a smarter, more flexible way to manage small concrete supply for projects.

Designed and developed in New Zealand over the past four years, the Crewmix machines give tradies complete control over their projects - pouring exactly what’s needed, when and where it's needed, with no waste or delays.

“We saw a clear gap in the market for an on-demand, pay-for-what-you-use concrete mixing service for small to medium jobs,” says Rob McLaren, co-director of NZ Concrete Taxis. “After running the retail model in the Hawke’s Bay for the past year, it’s clear there’s strong demand - to say we’ve been busy is an understatement! Now we’re ready to expand into new regions.”

Karim Koorey, fellow director, adds “We’re excited to bring this to more parts of New Zealand. With NZ Concrete Taxis franchise opportunities now available, we’re looking for motivated operators who are looking to build a business around good old-fashioned service”

Whether it’s footings, paths, post holes or block fill, NZ Concrete Taxis is designed to make small-to-medium concrete jobs easier, more affordable, and more accessible – without the need to wait for a big concrete truck or over-order concrete. The trailer-mounted Crewmix CM1000 machines are maneuverable, making concrete pours at difficult-to-access sites or remote locations easy.
